The human desire to travel is natural. It is how we explore the world and discover ourselves. When you travel you meet new people, you explore new languages and you sample new foods. You have been removed from your comfortable culture and you are forced to look at the world from a new perspective.
During your travels you are naturally inclined to want to photograph these new places and experiences. You want to remember this growth for yourself as well as share this adventure with others.
While building Photo Jumpstart I have naturally been excited to talk to people about the idea and the growth of that idea. If I happen to overhear a conversation about photography I become curious and offer input if appropriate. I talk to family and friends about the idea and its growth and naturally they are incredibly supportive.

I often get asked what kind of camera I use and then what kind of camera I would suggest for somebody to buy. It’s a tricky question to answer because often the individual has a perception that there is an ultimate camera that will yield them great images. The hard truth is that this isn’t true. (more…)
Website is coming along nicely I think. I will be adding more content soon. There is a logo and a banner in the oven. I am excited to unveil those in the next week or so. The newsletter is the next big project, and a very important one. I want this newsletter to be unlike any other newsletter, I want to create something to look forward to reading.
